Private Classes

YogiB yoga offers one-off days or weekly regular yoga sessions for daycares, preschools, elementary schools and middle schools

YogiB would love to partner with you so yoga can be brought to your children’s daycare, preschool, elementary or middle school. This can be as a one-off special event, as a weekly enrichment class during lunch for example or after school hours, or as part of your yearly curriculum during the school day.

 

These classes will be designed specifically with each individual class in mind. They will be modified as needed to meet the children where they are at, supporting not only their physical well being but also their social-emotional development.

Classes can be tailored for babies and toddlers, preschoolers, Kindergarteners, all the way up to our tweens and teens. All abilities are welcome in our classes.

 

Yoga helps our students build body awareness and coordination. The breathing exercises and mindfulness aspects teach children how to feel calm when they are overwhelmed. The multi-sensory aspect can help improve concentration and focus by approaching the learning from different angles. Yoga can give children a language for their emotions, supporting social emotional development. Our repeated structure to the class helps build familiarity so students feel safe and engaged, as well as builds confidence in their skills and learning.

Yoga and mindfulness are great tools to teach students how to listen to their minds and bodies. It can create a calmer, more positive environment, and supports the whole-child developmentally - physically, emotionally, mentally and socially.
